How to Use EFT Tapping
Ready to try it yourself? Here's your step-by-step guide:
The Basic Technique:
Identify the feeling or issue you want to work on (frustration, overwhelm, fear, etc.)
Rate the intensity from 1-10 (10 being most intense)
Tap on each point about 7-10 times while saying your phrases
The Tapping Points (in order):
Top of Head
Eyebrow (inner corner)
Side of Eye
Under Eye
Under Nose
Chin (in the indent)
Collarbone (just below the bone)
Under Arm (about 4 inches down from armpit)
What to Say:
Let It Out: Say all of the things you’re thinking and feeling out loud. Don’t worry about what you’re saying. Your feelings are real, but it doesn’t mean they are true. Get it all out!
After One Round:
Take a deep breath and check your intensity level. Keep tapping until it feels lighter.
Pro tip: Don't worry about doing it "perfectly"—your intention and the tapping motion are what matter most.
